Climate Tech :: The Remix Byron — A Recap
The future isn’t built in silos — it’s shaped in rooms like this. Our Climate Tech event brought together a powerhouse mix of minds: local government, deep-tech founders, regenerative designers, impact investors and more.

We hosted two panels designed to take the conversation beyond the usual headlines.

Panel 1 grounded us in the challenges we’re facing and how state and local governments are responding. There was no sugar-coating — but there was clarity, collaboration, and a shared desire to move faster.

After a short networking break (plus standout cocktails from Byron Bay Spirits Co.), we moved into what’s possible.

What really stood out was the vibe in the room — thoughtful, curious, open… These events aren’t just about sharing ideas — they’re about finding each other. - Byron Shire Mayor

Panel 2 leaned into possibility — spotlighting bold innovations, new partnerships, and what's emerging in climate tech, from bio-materials to energy storage to regenerative land practices. The room came alive with connection: hands were raised, cards were swapped, and projects started forming before the chairs were cold.

This wasn’t just an event. It was a signal. The Remix is building something here — an ecosystem where people who care about the future can actually find each other. The takeaway? There’s work to do, but we’re not doing it alone.
